Cydney Clanton - Ladies Pro Golf Association Player

Modern Impressions is proud to be a sponsor of Cydney Clanton, Professional Ladies Golfer.

Most Recent News: Cydney finished the 2016 year in the top 100, which means she keeps her full LPGA status again in 2017. This is the first year that she has earned enough money to keep her Tour Card on the LPGA. Cydney played 22 tournaments throughout 2016, making the cut in 8 of them. She also qualified for ALL FIVE MAJORS this year, which is quite a feat. She finished 26th in the KPMG women's PGA championship, and also had 2 top 20 finishes this year.

Cydney Clanton graduated high school from Concord High School in 2007. Cydney attended Auburn University, where she was a 3-time All American. During her college career, she won 3 collegiate events and participated in the 2010 Curtis Cup and the World Amateur team. After graduating from college, she immediately turned pro, playing on the Symetra Tour. That fall Cydney earned her LPGA card for the 2012 season. Her Rookie season was not her best year, but it was very much a year of growth.

Cydney spent the 2013 season competing on the Symetra Tour focused on finishing in the top-10 of the money list. With the help of her first professional win at The Four Winds Invitational, she finished the season 5th on the money list and earned full status for the 2014 season on the LPGA.

Clanton finished 130th on the LPGA official money list in 2015, playing in nine events. She was 25th on the Symetra Tour list after playing in 13 events on that tour.

Cydney Clanton secured full status on the LPGA Tour for the 2016 season, at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament, which concluded Sunday in Daytona Beach, FL.

Clanton finished in a tie for sixth place in the 157-player field, posting rounds of 67-70-69-72-73=351 (-9) over the 90-hole event to earn full status on the LPGA Tour.
